Hi,

We have a client using G Suite and they are looking to use SSO to integrate with their yellowfin installation. Is this possible to do?

Thanks in advance,

Lawrence

Hello Lawrence,

Thanks for reaching out with your question. Yellowfin does support SSO through a couple different methods. The first is LDAP integration. This is supported natively in Yellowfin and the settings to authenticate to an Active Directory server can be entered from within the Yellowfin GUI. There's a bit more information available on our Wiki LDAP Authentication page.

The second is web services. This one is a little more complicated and requires some knowledge of coding. There are a series of Yellowfin web services that allow programs to implement SSO and generate authentication tokens. There's more information on web services in our Wiki Web Services page.

I'm not familiar with the intricacies of G Suite, however a quick search seems to indicate the G Suite can be used with LDAP.

Does this answer your question?

Thanks,

Ryan
