Hello Max,
It is possible to turn on filter selection on a dashboard. This can be done by editing the dashboard and changing the Filter Settings. By default, the Filters on a dashboard are manipulated by clicking the Filters button in the left pane. The placement of this can be changed in Edit Dashboard > Filter Settings > General Settings . It can be placed next to the report by choosing 'Right' or 'Left', or the default location can be made more visible by setting the 'Initial filter state' to 'Open.' This allows visibility of applied filters.
