Running and collecting report via Java/WEb API

Hi,
Other than what's already available in the documentation, is there any doc from other knowledge sources that you could provide, or would you or anyone have come across some examples where the above has been tried/achieved?
I just need to confirm if it's possible and some building blocks to get started.

I'm guessing you've seen these two pages on the Wiki which contain info on the webservices API for reports:

They also contain code examples. Let me know if that's what you're looking for.
