Reference line as a variable

When adding a reference line in a need it as a variable rather than a hardcoded value. Please see attached screenshot

Unfortunately the idea has not been planned as yet.

You suggested on the other post that "In the meantime, you can think about using a conditional format applied to the metric column and then display the conditional format on the chart instead."
How do I get this done?
I am new to Yellowfin so can you point me to the right direction.
