Reducing the gap between chart bars

We would like to have the option of being able to reduce/increase the gap between the bars within charts.
It appears that the gap are a set width.

Hi Ajinkya,
The spacing between bars is editable in Bar and Column charts, just not when it's set up as an Auto Chart.
In this case, you'd set the chart to Horizontal Bar > Axis Settings > Vertical > Style > change "Category Spacing":
