No error message displayed when you've entered incorrect details when logging in

Hi,


So when you login and you enter incorrect details, yellowfin just keeps on flashing and doesn't tell you what is it that you typed incorrectly, is there a way to find out what it is that you typed wrong?


Like maybe incorrect username or incorrect password?

I hope all is well,

Unfortunately for security reasons we do not specify which field is incorrect, the error message of Incorrect username or password. Please try again would be a generic warning used by many sites requiring credential input.

Hi Lebo,


If we specified the field that was incorrect then this would allow potential "hackers" knowledge of where the field is at fault, to which they would then focus there attention on the incorrect field to gain access.


Hopefully that makes sense :-)
