Modify head section of Dahboard
Answered
HI,
I am wondering, if there is a way to modify the head section of the Dashboard output page, e.g add a script link, a css link or whatever.
Thanks
Jens

Hi Jens,
Thank you for your question. While it is not possible to directly modify the head section in Yellowfin, we have a couple of options for using custom css. The first is by adding the required css file to the customcss directory (found in yellowfin/appserver/webapps/ROOT/customcss), any files added in here will be picked up by Yellowfin on load and applied to any applicable elements on any page in Yellowfin. This article provides some more information.
The second is by using Code Mode on a Canvas dashboard, which would allow you to directly add the CSS you require for that specific dashboard. This article talks more about Code Mode as a whole, though doesn't reference CSS directly, may be useful it you wish to look into this further.
Please let me know if either of the above will help you achieve what you are looking for. If not, please let me know some more information about the specific use-case you are working with and we can see what we can find for you.
Cheers,
Neal
