LEAST function in report (not view) with aggregation

I have a report that needs 2 fields

1) Sum(mynumber)

2) LEAST( 8, sum(mynumber))

Basically the second one says, "Whichever is less, 8, or the sum of the group"

I can't figure out how to do this. #1 is easy. #2 I can't use freehand sql or simple as it doesn't allow for me to use aggregation functions within. How can I accomplish this?

Thanks for reaching out to support with your question.

I talked to a consultant about potential workarounds here, since this activity is not natively supported at the report level in Yellowfin. He suggested to try using the "Report As View" function to apply the second aggregation/function. Would you be able to give this a try?
