ISO 27001 certification

Hello,

When selecting a new BI tool there is always somebody who insists the BI company needs certain certificates. Like ISO 27001 for example...

Although I don't think these kind of certificates are an assurance that all is well within a certain company it certainly helps when you know a company is audited on a regulary basis.

I was somewhat surprised I could not find any information about YellowFin and information security Certification. I know you do not have a cloud based solution where you 'control' client data but these certificates also say something about the way a company is conducting there work-process.

Have I missed this information? Is it an conscious choice to not have those. I am just curious. This is in no way a reflection of how I think about YF.

Kind regards,

Jeroen

Hi Jeroen,

Thanks for reaching out with your question. In regards to ISO 27001 specifically, this isn't something we've pursued directly at this time.

That being said, Yellowfin has recently been awarded a Certificate of Assurance by Cyber Essentials. Visible here:

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any further questions or issues.

Thanks,

Ryan
