Is metadata database Unicode or non-unicode?

We notice that there is no option on the installer to select from Unicode or Non-Unicode installation, we want to know the option the installer is using.

Hi Daniel,

I assume this is in reference to the actual Repository DB that is created as part of the install? If so, we use UTF-8.

If this is not what you're after, sorry if I've misunderstood, just help me understand what this would be in relation to so I can provide a better answer.
