Hello

How do you within a graph get the dates to sort in order?

I've been unsuccessful in getting days of the week to display in order within 1 graph and days of the month to display in another graph.

we are on version 7.4.10

Hi Kristy,

There are 2 ways to do this. The first is to simply include the full date field in your report as the first column (which will control the sort order of the data) and then hide it. This should give you want you need quickly and works well if your data is a Date format. See the images below as an example:

1. Add date column at the start

2. Hide this date field from the table

3. Your dates should be sorted in order on your report

The other option if your Months/Days data are in varchar format, is to setup Org Ref Codes which allow you to create a custom sort list. This guide will help with setting these up and adding the custom sort. The Description is the name that will appear on the report so you can change January to Jan or similar if you wish as well.

Please let me know how you do with this and if there is anything else I can help with.

Cheers,

Neal
