How to show subtabs on an embedded dashboard

We've created a dashboard with a couple of subtabs. When this dashboard is embedded in an HTML page, only the first subtab is shown. There seems to be no way to navigate between subtabs.
Is this by design or are we doing something wrong when embedding our dashboard?
On a related note, is it possible to show dashboard tabs so as to embed several dashboards at once?

Thanks for reaching out with your question. What you're experiencing is a listed limitation of the JSAPI integration. As per the second bullet-point in the Limitations list at the bottom of this wiki page: "Only one dashboard is supported per HTML page".
In this case, each sub tab is considered and treated as another dashboard. Your choices to work around this would be to embed each report individually, or separate those tabbed dashboards and call each one in their own HTML page.
