Or else, if you wanted to connect to an Oracle data source via SSL the steps would be similar except that you would set the Data Source's field called Database Type to the value of "JDBC Generic Data Source" rather than Oracle - this is so you get the full JDBC connection string in which you can set the correct switches to activate SSL.
