How to check maximum password input time in YF?
Answered
Hi team,
we have some users locked out from YF. They tried to input password couple of times, then locked out forever. Is there anyway I can check how many times they can input incorrect password?
Thanks,
Vicky
Hi Vicky,
Thanks for reaching out with your question. You can find the relevant password settings under 'Administration' > 'Configuration' > Padlock Icon > 'Password Settings':
In particular, the 'Password Attempts Limit' would be the setting you're after.
Let me know if this answers your question.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,
Thanks. I found it. So does it mean after trying 10 times, users will be locked out and system admins have to reset password? or they will only be locked out for couple of hours?
Thanks,
Vicky

Hi Vicky,
I'm glad this was helpful. After an account is locked, the password must be reset by the Administrator prior to the user regaining this access. Does this answer all of your password related questions?
Thanks,
Ryan
