How to avoid line chart to show drop due to null values of future?
Answered
Hi,
I am trying to create comparison of Revenue of todays vs yesterday on hourly basis.
for example in attached screenshot 'running total of rev1' is todays revenue(Purple line). This line shows a drop starting from 7th hour since the data is not yet in for 8th hour.
Is there a way I can hide/edit this drop till the time data is populated for future hours?
Thanks

Hi Sumit, yes, it sounds like the Skip option for the Null Behaviour setting might do the trick for you:
I have tested this out and it seems to work for me, see the blue line below drops to zero for the last point, this is because there is a null value there:
then after I set the Skip option to be on, it doesn't drop to zero anymore:
Please let me know if this helps you meet your reporting requirements.

David

Hi Syed Rahman,
yes that's correct, and it isn't because of a bug - it just hasn't been implemented yet. So please feel free to raise an Idea in the Yellowfin Community to request said feature.
