How can I add labels to charts other than the Pie chart e.g. Trellis Charts?

I am trying to add labels on bar & column charts, but unlike the Pie charts, the option to add them does not appear when using the Auto Chart.

The Trellis Chart works well with what i want to achieve, but labels don't appear irrespective if i select the Trellis Chart manually or it auto selects it.

How can this be done?

Thanks

Hi Casper,

I hope all is well,

Unfortunately the option to have Chart Labels tend to only be available for Pie Charts, as per what our Wiki states:

"Labels can be added to charts to print out the values of the data point onto the chart in text format. Generally the formatting of label options are only available for pie charts."

http://wiki.yellowfin.com.au/display/USER73/Chart+Formatting

Having looked at this myself to see what Charts allow us to use the "Labels" option, we have the following:

Horizontal Bar

3D Horizontal Bar

Stacked Horizontal Bar

Cylinder

3D Stacked Column

GIS Map (any)

Pie (any)

Funnel

Radar

Waterfall

With regards to having this option for the "Trellis" Chart, unfortunately this is not possible, although we do have this as an "Enhancement Request" under the ID of 112739 - With this we can hopefully have this implemented within an upcoming build. I will add this post to the notes of this Task ID.

I know this is not the answer you were looking for but hopefully with this recent request it helps push this forward.

Regards,

Mark
