Hide mandatory filter on dashboard
Answered
I have a single report that is used on several dashboards. There cannot be a default value set on filter at the report level, but I wish to set different default filter values for that report on each of the dashboards. This works great. Until -- I want to hide that filter from users so they can't change it - ever. I don't want multiple copies of the same report, each with their own default filter as then I'll need to change X different reports with each enhancement instead of maintaining a single report. So the solution I need is .....
Is there a way to set a default filter value at the dashboard level, and then hide or lock that filter from end-users so that it cannot be changed?
