Has anyone scripted an export/import from the command line using Yellowfin?

I'd like to get to where we can automate our deployment process across environments, but the import/export process looks like it's only accessible through the GUI. Has anyone ever tried to automate it?

Hi Justin,

Yes, it is possible to export content from any language using web-services:

http://wiki.yellowfin.com.au/display/USER73/Administration+Service

You can find example (jsp) scripts in your yellowfininstallation/development/examples/webservices, one of which should be an export script.

Hopefully this gets yous started, let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Nathan

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I tried the link and tried to login, but was unable with this ID. Do I need to register somewhere else? I don't see an option on that page. We would like to configure a regular export to have backups of the reports and configurations for backup.
