Formatting Filters

Hello there - I have set up a filter for Year, but the value shows up as 2,017.00, 2,016.00, 2,015.00. I tired this with a Calculated field, and a custom query but no luck. Attached is a screen. I also tried the Admin Console, where you can set up decimal and thousands comma.

Hi Hugo,

Thank you for getting in touch. I would recommend trying to remove these within the column formatting section of the view editor. Typically when an item is pulled into a report it will first obey the rules defined here unless specified elsewhere in the report.

Please let me know if this works for you.

Hi Nathan,

Not sure what you mean. If I take out Year, then the report and chart fails.

I prefer 2017, 2016, and 2105.

Do you have a few minutes to screen-share? If so just click this link below whenever you are ready:

Hi Nathan,

Would that be feasible to share the resolution? some of us unable to share the screen due to security constraints.

I would love to see the solution provided. I have the same requirements as well.

Thanks

Hi Mohammad,

In this case the solution I initially suggested worked. Adjust this field's default formatting at the view level, and it will be applied to filters properly.

Let me know if this works for you.

Nathan
