Enable different selection type for Filters on Dashboard in version 9

In Yellowfin 8, you are able to override the default filter selection type as defined in the View and the Report. For example a filter value that is 'In List' in the Report can be changed to a 'Radio Box' on the Dashboard in version 8. However, this feature is not currently available in Yellowfin 9, I would like this to be raised as an Enhancement Request.
In version 8, 'Select Department' has been overridden and is behaving as a 'Pop up', where it is defined as an 'In List' filter in the Report:
