Does yellowfin allows to change the application URI context post the installation
Answered
During YF installation with default tomcat the application will be hosted with URL http://<SRHost>:<SRPort>/ . We have performed the installation and now wanted to change the application URI to
http://<SRHost>:<SRPort>/Reporting . Any pointers on this ?

Thanks Dave. I do have some customization on the YF application, like updates in web.xml (containing the \ROOT\ directory path to hold some .jsp files ) , new logos, etc, as post YF deployment on tomcat instance via our installers. So if I use the process/steps mentioned in the above link, I will loose those contents. So, post these steps, do I have to run through those configuration again with manual approach ?

Hi Sachin,
I've talked this over with one of our two head developers and he says he agress with you that that is the best approach...i.e. to update your customisations after the steps to change the URI.

Hi Sachin,
I'm just cleaning up my work lists...this one looks answered to me so I'm going to mark it as such....however (and I hope it goes without saying), if you have any further questions on the subject matter just add them to this Question and then that very act of posting a new comment will put the Question back on my work list so I'll see it straight away!
