Date format not changing for dynamic date filter setting

I am trying to display my date filter according to the format in the view (dd MMMM yyyy). But when I set the option to dynamic dates (for a default setting) and the BETWEEN operand for user selection, it defaults to the dd/MM/yyyy format (visually).

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

Hi Jannie,

Thank you for reaching out to us on this.

This input is actually a date selector, it takes it format settings from the user regional settings (limited to dd/MM/yyyy, MM/dd/yyyy and yyyy/MM/dd), not the view itself. Unfortunately that means you will not be able to have the filter display in the dd MMMM yyyy format.

Hi Jannie,

Unfortunately we do not have any immediate plans to implement this feature. This doesn't mean that it won't be considered in the future, it is just not on our current road map.

If anything changes I'll let you know. Though of course if there was anything else you were after in the meantime, please let me know.
