Change the legend description when using conditional formatting

Hello and good day,

I have a column, Violation type, that takes the values 'Availability', 'TTR', ...

I have used conditional formatting to show the data and I want to use that also in the chart.

Using the condition Violation Type equal to 'Availability', I specify the colour.

Although in the chart the correct colours are shown, in the legend part, the condition (equal) is also shown.

I would like to see only the values there and not the conditions I made, e.g. instead of 'Equal Availability' to have 'Availability'.

How can I achieve that? (we use version 7.3)

Thanks,

Dim

Hi Dim,

Thanks for getting in touch. I am a little confused as to how your report is being setup here. If your goal is purely a visual change to the chart, I would recommend applying organization reference codes to the "Violation Type" Field. You can then set your "Availability" and "TTR" values to correlate to specific charting colors which will apply consistently across all reports.

If you have considered this and ruled against it, it would be helpful if you could send me a screenshot of how you are applying your conditional format within the "data" tab.
