Change sql server version in yellowfin

How i can change sql server version in yellowfin. For example, i want to move from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2016, without starting the project fom beggining. How i can do it?

Hi Max,


If none of the underlying tables or locations are changed in the upgrade, then Yellowfin should not mind that the platform has been updated.


However if 2016 is a brand new installation in a new location with altered data types, it will be necessary to create a new installation of Yellowfin on top of that, and then import/export all of your content from the old instance to the new.

Please note that it is highly recommended that you backup your database before making any major changes.
