Calculated field using olap cube

Hi,
i am using two appends to filter this and last year onto two dimensions in my table but when i want to calculate the difference using a calculated field i get thrown an error. 'Error retrieving results An error occurred retrieving results from the databse' any ideas why or how i can around this?

From your description alone, it is quite hard to tell what might be going wrong here. Can you please attach and send me your entire logs folder, slightly after you have replicated this error?
You can find the logs in your Yellowfin installation folder (yellowfin/appserver/logs)
