Broadcast - How the number of Sent times is calculated?

Hello Team,
We have this behaviour on all of our helix environments with no exception, even when a new broadcast is created there is a weird high amount of Sent times displayed.
This does not affect the functionality of broadcast, however, we'll like to know how this number is calculated by the tool to have a good understanding of why this is happening. we have the feeling that it has something to do about how our containers environment is configured.
