Broadcast gets deleted after schedule window lapses
Answered
Hi,
I need confirmation on whether the following is designed behavior.
When a broadcast is set up with a schedule window, it seems the background task scheduler deletes the broadcast past the schedule window.
Eg. Set up a daily broadcast to run for a few days
After the above period lapses and if the user checks for the broadcast after the above period, there is no broadcast to be found from the report
Thanks,
Nick
Hi Nick,
Thanks for reaching out. This is indeed expected behavior. You can easily test and confirm this to be the case by creating a broadcast and setting the EndDate column value in the ReportBroadcast table to an earlier date, reloading the report, and rechecking the broadcasts. Reports only show active Broadcasts in them. Please let me know if you have any additional questions on this.

Mike

Thanks Mike.
Yes, this is what I observed in my test environment.
