add template to (pdf) export
Answered
I do not know wether such a function is available, but if so I have been unable to find it.
It would be nice to use a standard template when exporting a yellowfin report. For example in this way it would be possible to:
- put a company logo in the header.
- Provide a disclaimertext and the date of the report in the footer etc.
Hi Bram,
I hope all is well,
I can confirm that what you are looking for is possible within Yellowfin. When creating a report we have the options of selecting what we want for our Header and Footer. Having created a report we simply navigate to "Report Formatting" - located in this menu is the option to select the Header and Footer.
Header
Within this menu we have the option to select an image, by selecting "Image" we then have the steps to select the image we want although we do need to pre-upload our image that we are looking to use. Pre-uploading an image can be done by navigating to the following: Administration > Images and Maps.
Footer
For our Footer we have the same options as we do for our Header, I would recommend that we select "Text" as an option this way you can add your disclaimer.
Having done this we can now export our report to PDF of which the results we get will be as you can see within the attached PDF document.
I hope this helps Bram, if you have any more questions regarding this please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my very best to assist. I look forward to your reply.
