Access Filter Configuration
Answered
Hi,
I wanted to add the new value in access filter dropdown like "Client Reference Id". can you please tell me where I will add the new reference type . Earlier I added but I forgot where I added the one.
I am aware that you wont support yellowfin 7.1, But due to COVID with limited resources we have not upgraded to latest release.
Can you please send me WIKI of 7.1 of reference type config?

Hey Jhansi,
Applying the ref code is exactly where you have outlined it;
The value that is applied is taken from client organizations :
This is actually the same process even in the latest releases .
Please let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
David

Hi David,
How are you? Thanks for looking into this.
I don't think dropdown values are coming from Client Organisations. Here am adding the screenshot of both Client Organisations and Access Filter dropdown values. I am asking about the highlighted Filters like USER_BRANCH_EMAIL, USER_EMAIL, USER_CLIENT_EMAIL. These are filters we have added but could not remember how we have added.

No problems Jhansi,
When using client reference ID, that's all it's going to show you in the drop down. You will only ever see 'Client Reference ID', not the actual client org value (that get's switched behind the scenes).
What you're now referring to is just general access filter configuration, which is still down in the same data source settings as the current release (Menus look a bit different, but it's still all in the same area).
Hope this gives you what you need.
Thanks,David
