Missing Pre-Defined Functions after Migration to v9.8.1.3

Dear Support,
We have encountered some errors in certain reports after migrating from version 8.0.10 to version 9.8.1.3. It appears that some pre-defined functions are missing.
Specifically in version 8, we used functions like Substr for Oracle, but these are unavailable in version 9.
Could you please advise us on how to resolve this issue?
