Dashboard Filters

I have a dashboard with 12 reports on it and it the number of reports is expected to grow. I have an internal request to make it available to 10 separate users, but they only want to see their areas and not see other users areas. Is there a way to limit them to their areas through the Dashboard? Otherwise I have to create 120 separate reports. Does this make sense?

I suggest granting private access to the reports and then adding those reports into the public dashboard.

The private access does not work for this situation. I had already read that section. This is not giving me what I need. Can we set up some time so I can demonstrate what I need and I hope is possible?

Is it possible to lock the default values in the dashboard so they cannot be changed?

I set the Territory with a Default of “Northeast”. Can I hide the Territory filter but still display the Date Closed filter?

Sure, remember the goal for the Dashboard is to have it’s own filter that would limit the attached reports on the Dashboard to return data according to the Dashboard filter.  So I could create a dashboard that is locked into one criteria.

I have explored all other options; however, it appears that there is no functionality that meets your requirements. The closest alternative is the access filter, which I believe you have already reviewed in relation to my replication video, but it did not provide a solution. I will proceed to close the case at this time, as we do not currently have that functionality available. I will inform you if any developments arise in the future.
