Eliminating the "null" category and values from chart?

Ivanche shared this question 5 months ago
Completed

We would like to have two sets of data in a single YellowFin report: three month data and one month data.

We managed to do this by creating a mother query where we use a "last three months" filter, and appending (via a left join) a subquery where we use a "last month" filter. We could then create a chart that correctly displays data load per month for three months.

However, when we tried to create a chart displaying data load per day for last month, the chart also shows a "null" category. This likely refers to the values that are not represented on the chart, i.e. the two month data that get excluded by applying a last month filter.

Is there a way to join the queries in a way that the null category is eliminated? Or perhaps to adjust the filter/charts so that they do not display these null categories and values at all?
