Broadcast to Non-Yellowfin Email

Hello Japer,

After investigating the concern I found that Yes, we can send broadcast to external users when we have a multicast license (Your CSM should be able to help you with the multicast license).

Administration--> Admin console--> Roles

Thanks for the info regarding Multicast Access Filter Reports option. Another question though, what if I use a report with email addresses as a recipient list of the broadcast? Will that be considered as Multicast even if those emails listed have Yellowfin accounts?

So does this mean Access Filter will not work per recipient for that Broadcast? i.e. the Access Filter will be based on whoever created the Broadcast
Is this correct?

Hope you are doing well

Yellowfin sends the same report to each recipient unless you are using the "Access Filters" which will filter the report for each recipient. Below are the few articles for your reference
