Yellowfin supports connecting to any database that has a JDBC driver. This is a safe way of saying that we can connect to most relational databases out there.
Cubes that are exposed via XMLA can be connected to via XMLA OLAP. Cubes included in this list are PALO cubes, Mondrian, TM1, SAP BW cubes, etc.
We can also connect to Big Data sources like SAP Hana, and Hadoop over Hive.
Connections to SalesForce, Google Analytics, Zendesk, Facebook – these require custom connectors/drivers that just need to be dropped into the Yellowfin installation folder to enable them. Once you have them in the library, they will be selectable after a Yellowfin restart.
