Clickable filter?

Hey,

In a dashboard, is it possible to click on a chart object (like a column in a column chart or a country in a map) and have that value passed on to other charts in the dashboard?

Hi Tal,

This is possible, but your data will need to be setup in a drill-down format. Within the dashboard you can then link the reports on "drill-down", and the chart element will act the same as the normal drill down functionality.

One trick in this regard, is to create a copy of the field you wish to use, and, in the view editor, link these identical fields in a hierarchy.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Hi Tal and Dor,

I am going to set this particular ticket to closed for now, but if you have any trouble getting this to work, please let me know and the case will be re-opened.

Hey Nathan!

Thank you for your reply.

We are aware of the drill-down setup, but apparently what we have thought about is suitable as an idea.

For example - when you have a report that is a world map, and it sits with other reports inside a dashboard, we want to be able to press a country/continent, and by our press filter the whole dashboard to the selected country.

Thanks

Dor & Tal
