using "Count" function, & then being able to click to see the data points that are included in count

Hi all,

I have what is likely a simple question that is getting me stumped. I am building a report that has a field, "Case ID", and I am using the count function for that field. The resulting data chart is as expected.

My question is how do I make it so that I could click on the counted number (e.g. Case Priority = Critical, Department ID = 5, count = 59) to see a list of those 59 Case IDs?

Hi Jordan,

Thanks for your message.

This can be achieved in two ways, using the Drill Down or Drill Through functionality. The more appropriate option from your description would be Drill Through, where you would be drilling to a new Report describing the individual cases, and filtering by the Case Priority and Department ID.

I would encourage you to explore the free resources at Yellowfin University, which covers many aspects of content creation such as this.

Let me know if you have any further queries.

Kind regards,

Simon
