Filters on dashboard causing error

Hi there,

I am having a problem with filters on the dashboard, One day they will be working fine and the next I get this error:

/38b6bcee49d4cb1f579c0188b454c66f

Is there a checklist I can go through to find out what is causing it?

I have removed brushing from the dashboard and it seems to have fixed the problem, is there are reason why brushing would affect the filters?

To clarify, can you confirm that you no longer experience this issue at all, when turning off chart brushing on the Dashboard? There are some limitations with the Chart Brushing feature when using things like Analytic Functions that might affect your Dashboards if they are based on data that changes daily. Please don't hesitate to send through any log files and an approximate time when you last experienced this and I can have a look and try and figure out exactly what the root cause is for you.

Thank you for the link, it is very helpful.

I can confirm that I am no longer experiencing the issue, since turning chart brushing off.

I will reintroduce brushing one chart at a time and see if/where the error is occurring and let you know.

Not a problem, let me know how you go with the errors!


If I had to guess after reading about the limitations, I would suggest looking at your Analytic Functions, or any Reports on the Dashboard that have Drill-Through functionality.

I have been able to get the filters to work so have no needed to use brushing.

I will let you know if I get stuck with brushing.
