WMS layers as backgrounds instead of google

I'm attempting to export a report that contains polygons. Using the google maps works to display the report but exporting is not supported. Has anyone successfully exported using WMS layers as backgrounds? Are there WMS servers available that have basic roads or even background images?

How are you exporting this content?
Are you looking at exporting to PDF or other document type, or are you migrating this to another piece of software?

just exporting to a PDF, not migrating.

Sorry for the delay.
This exporting issue is related to the way google maps gives it's permissions.
Other WMS suppliers may allow you to export with no restricitons.
