Sorting Week Numbers

Good morning!

How would one go about sorting week number so they appear in this fashion?

  • 51
  • 52
  • 1
  • 2

Currently, the data in that particular field is formatted as a TimeStamp, from there, I've created the week numbers on the view level.

Currently, I only have two, well - three options: either ascending, descending or not sorted.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Hi Mat,

In order to apply custom sorting to any column you will need to use reference codes:

Let me know if this sounds like it will work here.

Hi Nathan,

This seems to be the case, thank you very much!

I do have, however, one more question. Is it possible to exclude certain values from being taken into consideration while creating a Top 10 calculated field?

To put my question into a little bit of perspective: I have a list of 11 manufacturers, one of them is a grouped field of manufacturers I am not interested in, however, I need to include them, say, combined revenue is much bigger then some I need to report on, how could I exclude the "Others" field from being ranked?

Best wishes, Mat

Just a thought but could you introduce a new filter set to 'Different from' the value to exclude and then hide that filter? Not sure if it would sort your issue but I have used it several times in a different context
