Hi Sadi,

This idea has been officially logged in our system, however not something that has an ETA set against it yet, as it really needs to be reviewed in greater detail.

Though I think I've found a workaround which may work for you.

If you create your report as a row/column based report first, apply your function, then switch it to a cross-tab, the function stays applied.

It's worked in my test, but I have not done extensive testing so unsure if it's also going to work for you.

Can you please let me know if that works for you?

Thanks,

David

This still doesn't seem to work. I've added a Top/Bottom N Rank to a cross-tab report, but the results on a graph are not limited to the top N that I define. All of the data points are still shown.

For my report, I have customers, then total sales by each year as the cross-tab, which are then totaled for each customer. I want to show this in a graph as the top N of total sales, ideally as a Stacked Vertical Column graph, so we can see total sales over the time period specified while getting the yearly breakdown for each of the top customers.

For an alternative approach....I attempted a non cross-tab report that had Customer then Year listed, but the Top N does not work as expected because it takes the top N of the combination of Customer and Year, as opposed to just Customer Totals. If the cross-tab doesn't work, is there a way to define what I want to take as the top N? Customer total vs. Customer and Year subtotal?

Thanks.
