Hello sofian lahmami,

I hope you are doing well

Thank you for your patience. To prevent broadcasts and scheduled tasks from being triggered on 2 of your 4 clustered Yellowfin servers, you will need to disable the Task Scheduler on the specific nodes where you do not want scheduling activity to occur.

Steps to Disable the Task Scheduler:

1) On each of the two servers, navigate to the web.xml file located within the Yellowfin WEB-INF directory.

2)Locate the MIStartup servlet configuration.

3)Add the following initialization parameter within the MIStartup servlet block:

<init-param>
<param-name>DisableTaskScheduler</param-name>
<param-value>TRUE</param-value>
</init-param>
4)Save the changes to the web.xml file and Restart the two affected Yellowfin nodes to ensure the configuration is applied.

Once the servers have been restarted, the Task Scheduler will be disabled on those two nodes. As a result, broadcasts and other scheduled tasks will only be triggered and executed by the remaining two active scheduler nodes within the cluster.
