Hi

We installed 7.3 and restored database backup of old version 6.3. Then ran upgrade for version 7.3.

Getting the below error whenever we try to login. Please advise.

Hello Adrian,

Did you jump directly from 6.3 to 7.3?

If so, there have been many changes to the way that Yellowfin works and the backend database - this can sometimes cause issues when you have such a large version jump.

If possible, upgrade to 7.1, then 7.2 - at each step making sure that the install is good and you can access yellowfin as expecte.

At this point, make another DB backup and then finally install a clean 7.3 and restore the database.

I hope this helps!

Best regards,

Pete

Hi Peter

Yes. Did the jump directly, as I could not find older version to download from the portal. Can you send me links to each respective version I need?

Regards

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

Please log into the yellowfin portal (http://www.yellowfinbi.com) and then click on the following link:

https://portal.yellowfin.bi/YFSupportCentreBuild.i4

This should give you a list of the latest patch versions to download.

Please let me know if you have any issues!

Best regards,

Pete
