Regarding your inquiry, I’d like to inform you that if you want to add a total in the yellow box, you can use the following option:

To display the word, you can use the Column Formatting menu:

1. Click on the Column Formatting menu in the main navigation bar.
2. Select the field you wish to apply the label to in the Report Fields list panel.
3. Open the Summary section of the menu.
4. Set "Display Labels" to "On" to show labels.

Display Labels is not there (see below).  Using version 9

The total word becomes visible when the data is arranged as shown below. The column total appears only when there is some data in the rows as well. Could you please test this with your dataset and confirm if you observe the same behavior.
