Week Density Chart
Hi there,
I really like the concept of the Week Density chart. Where it becomes applicable for us is on a very large fact table (30M+ rows with high dimensionality). Unfortunately, it seems like the post-processing on the YF side once the data has transported from the database takes an extensive amount of time and frequently bombs out.
Without getting into specifics about our environment or database (we're indexing and trying to write SARGable arguments), do you have any recommendations on improving performance of the specific chart besides 1) creating an aggregated version of the dataset in SQL, or 2) adding indexes etc? I believe the issue is probably on the manipulation of the data by YF once it comes over jdbc. I'm looking for tips on tuning, do we need more memory to the appserver, etc?
Thanks!

Case Title: Week Density Chart
Thank you for your request. Please find below some recommendations indicated on Yellowfin knowledge base articles to improve the performance.
- Performance tuning:
https://community.yellowfinbi.com/knowledge-base/article/yellowfin-performance-tuning-or-monitoring
As you have indicated that you are using the Week Density Chart for a table with more than 30M rows where it takes too much time to load that fails to create the chart, increasing the Timeout for the Data source may help from the steps indicated from the article above.
- JVM max memory increase steps:

- Where can I find how much memory is allocated?

Please let me know if the recommendations described in the articles above help with this issue.
