Yellowfin 9.16 snowflake key authentication
Completed
Hi,
I'm setting up snowflake authentication, and hav been having some problems.
The system is installed on ubuntu 24.04
I got the authentification to work by supplying the private key on the YF server.
However I can only get it to accept the key, if i give it permission 604. (everybody can read the file.), which I will not be able to do on production.
I have tried changing ownership of the key. i would have thought that the owner needed to be the service user responsible for starting the yellowfin-service. But this does not seem to be the case.
Could you please provide information on how/where to place the key-file and which user is trying to read it?
Regards Troels

Hi,
I have now made it work. It was the yellowfin service user which tries to read the file. I must have set the permission wrong yesterday.
It works now, so no reason to investigate further.
