Is there a way to have filters run across the top of the report page?

Hello!

I am working on a report and stumbled across a filter formatting option that didn't behave the way I expected.

Setting the location of the filters to the top just pushed the report container below the filter box. I expected the filters to run across the page from left to right

Is there a setting out there that can do this? I know on a dashboard you can do this

Yep!

The attachment called Left is how it works now with the filter box on the left side of the report container

The attachment called Top has the filters being located at the Top. I expected this to have the filters to run from left to right above the report, but it just pushes everything down and the filters are still shown like they are when the filters are located to the left

I have performed several tests and checked internally with my team to see if there is any additional setting for filters, but currently the options available are the ones you have already tried under Filters > General Settings > Filter Display and Actions > Format as indicated on the documentation:
