Save to Disk using [Filter:] Option in Name

Is the [filter:display name] option available for Save to Disk broadcasts? It keeps on trying to create the file with the [filter: in the file name, and then dies due to that colon.

YF:2025-07-03 09:43:21: WARN (ReportBroadcastProcess) - [769569] [Background] [REPORT_RUN] [732084] Saving broadcast to: file://C:\Yellowfin\ReportExports/testing [filter:Employee].xlsx

I don't have any issues including the filter names in email broadcasts or any other smart task-- JUST the Save to Disk option.


If that is not available, is there any way to format the date testing - 07-03-2025.xlsx?

Or are we stuck with this format? any CSS i can alter?

Thank you for your patience,

We attempted to reproduce the request locally, verifying the configuration on Yellowfin version 9.15. We successfully configured the date to be included in the filename (e.g., Save - 03-07-2025.xls) of the saved disk broadcast file. In Yellowfin version 9.15, we have the option to append the broadcast date and time to the filename. We kindly request that you inform us of your current version so that we can verify the feature in that version. Attached are the screenshots of the configuration and the results.

The case was not for that checkbox it was for the [filter: filtername] option in the file name for SaveToDisk broadcasts

please close, and thank you for adding me to the feature request. we plan to write this data to disk in SSMS and not via YellowfinBI at this time to by pass this file name issue.
