Skewed production day (4:00 - 03:59) as default value for date filter

Hi all,

We have some dashboards that are used for operational reporting in our warehouses. In the warehouse, a production day starts at 04:00h and ends at 4:00h (instead of a regular day starting and ending at 00:00h).

Most of our dashboards have a "(production) date filter", that defaults to the current day.

Problem we have, is that the default current day, switches to the next day at 00:00. Functionally this means, that the dashboards does not show "today's" production data anymore after 00:00 (as this technically now has become yesterday).

We therefore like to set a default date, that switches to the "next" day at 04:00.

Or:

- when current hour between 04:00 and 00:00, return current day

- when current hour between 00:00 and 04:00, return current day -1.

Would this be possible to achieve in Yellowfin?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Machiel

Hi Machiel,

Thank you for reaching to us on this. At this time this is not possible, however I have created an Enhancement request for this to be considered for a future release. Such requests will be reviewed by our Product Team and implemented based on feasibility, level of positive impact to the user experience, and votes from the community. This post will be updated with any future information relevant to this process.

If you had any questions on this, or anything else please feel free to reach out.

Cheers,

Neal
