Unable to locate Yellowfin 9 title bar content settings / colour option

Hi Guys,

We are just testing Yellowfin 9.7 on a clone of our Existing Yellowfin 8 prior to upgrade.

Our Custom theming has updated without issue through Yellowfin 7 to 8 but on the upgrade to 9 we have this blue bar that we cannot seem to find where the colour configuration is in Content Settings.

YF7 / YF8

YF9 with the blue bar

Is the settings for this somewhere else in the config or do we need to modify in the JSP files?

Hi Russel,

You can change these colours through CSS and then save them to the Yellowfin\appserver\webapps\ROOT\customcss directory so that they apply throughout Yellowfin.

We have some documentation on how to do this over here on the Wiki.

Check my screenshot below where I've used the inspector to find the element for this top bar and change its colour:

I hope that helps!

Kind regards,

Just wanted to check-in and see how it's all going. Was there anything you were needing from me to help get this resolved?

Kind regards,
