Conditional Formatting on Numeric Display Chart

Hi Yellowfin Community,

I have a numeric display chart that basically displays a single column value for another table when drilled through. Is there a way to conditionally format this numeric display chart? For example, if the value of the numeric display is less than another column in the same dataset, highlight as red?

Is there some other workaround for this that could work if this is not possible?

Ideally I would not like to display a full table of results and use the conditional formatting there.

Many thanks for any assistance!

Philipp

Hi Philipp,

Thanks for reaching out. This should be possible, as long as you're on 9.1 or later (as this functionality was broken before 9.1).

To do this, you'd just add your Conditional Formatting to the metric you're using:

/3558b90f86c8890b8e20ce4613dd42a7

At which point you'll have the following option in the Charts section:

/ea4213ded61b8994dd636772b4df0e2f

And it will look like this:

/6d2fe0961afcdb7b2ce8ff7f39d84fb5

Please let me know how goes and whether you have any additional questions.

Regards,

Mike
